Teaching the world to draw since 1991! Welcome to a journey where art is not just a skill but a way of life! Since our founding in 1991, we have been dedicated to teaching practical art skills that empower individuals to express themselves, discover new talents, and gain confidence in their abilities. Our mission is to make art accessible to everyone and to nurture creativity in a supportive and inspiring environment.
We are looking forward to having a great experience with your children and you. Your children will learn new skills and build self-confidence as they create beautiful artwork and wonderful memories.

Each session begins with a lesson on a new artistic concept, followed by class discussion and individual project time. Instructors provide personalized support throughout.
Please arrive on time, as key instruction happens at the start. The studio opens 5 minutes before class begins.
Homework is generally not assigned. Occasionally, students may be encouraged to finish a project at home.
Classes operate similarly to a traditional classroom. Students are expected to:
Show respect to teachers, peers, and artwork
Work quietly to enhance focus and creativity
Clean up all materials at the end of class
Participate in rotating seating arrangements
Students must bring their sketchbook and art bag to class each week. Sketchbook will be sent home each week for parents to view progress. Please do not use the art class sketchbook for home practice use a separate sketchbook for that purpose.
Consistent attendance is essential for artistic growth. While we understand that absences may occur, make-up classes are only offered if a class is canceled by the studio. Students may request missed work if desired.
Please ensure students arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before class. Do not leave your child unless their teacher is present. Late arrivals are disruptive and may miss key instruction.
Prompt pick-up is essential. For younger children, please come into the studio to collect them. We do not provide supervision after class.
Our studio features large windows for easy viewing during warmer months. Please wait outside until class is finished.
We recommend students wear old, comfortable clothing or a smock, as some art materials are difficult to remove from fabric.
We play instrumental or non-English music to help students access the creative side of their brain while drawing. If you have suitable music suggestions or CDs, feel free to share them with us.
We value open communication. If you have questions or feedback about your child’s experience—whether the material is too easy or too challenging—please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to connect by phone or email.
Cash or e-transfer: Due on the first lesson of each month
Online credit card payments: Automatically processed each month
A full calendar month’s written notice (via email) is required for withdrawal. Fees are due through the end of that month, and any applicable refunds will be prorated after the notice period. Initial registration deposits are non-refundable.
On rare occasions, it may be determined that a class is not the right fit for a student. In such cases, we’ll suggest alternative programs that may better suit the child’s needs. If a student does not continue at Aliki’s Art House, a full refund will be issued.
