Designed for new and returning students ready to expand both their technical abilities and creative voice, this advanced-level class builds on strong foundational drawing skills while introducing more sophisticated artistic concepts and materials.

In this exciting class, young artists will build on their drawing skills while exploring new concepts like perspective, point-of-view drawing, and drawing from life. Students will have fun collaborative still life setups and learn how to create artwork with more depth, detail, and personality.

Along the way, we’ll also dive into the basics of watercolour painting and mixed media journaling. Each student will create and work inside their own hand-made art journal signature, experimenting with layering, textures, colour, collage, sketching, and creative visual storytelling.

This class encourages curiosity, creativity, and artistic confidence while giving students the freedom to explore new materials, techniques, and ideas in a supportive and inspiring studio environment.

Pre-requisites: Ideal for students with two or more years of previous art instruction at Aliki’s Art House.  If your child has not taken classes at Aliki’s before, we invite you to contact us to schedule a brief consultation. Returning students from Drawing 4 & More are welcome as the curriculum and projects are different.   

There are no Saturday classes on long weekends. This course includes 33 classes over a 9-month term. Fees are prorated to account for the following scheduled days off:
