Sculpting Hands Building 3D Art from Raw Materials

Students will be introduced to the process of sculpting as a means of extending their drawing skills to new art disciplines. Students complete 2 – 3 unique projects inspired by classical and modern artists.

 

Projects may include:

Giacometti Armatures – wire wrapped with plaster bandages and painted with faux finish.

Relief Sculpture -design and build a clay mold to make a plaster cast finished with acrylic paint wash.

Triskele Spheres with Zentangle patterns and watercolour.

 

All sculptures are built from scratch using the same techniques and methodology as professional artists.

Fee Structure:

  • Instructional Fee (first child) + Material: $183.50
  • Sibling Fee: $158.50
  • Parent Fee: $133.50
