Deepen your skills, explore colour, and bring portraits to life.

Designed for adult and teen students who have completed the first course, this class reinforces the foundational concepts and techniques of drawing from life while introducing exciting new challenges. Students will explore different portrait positions, including profile and 3/4 view, and experiment with colored materials such as colored pencils. Working on toned paper with black-and-white media, they will practice expressive techniques that add depth and dimension to their compositions.

Building on Part 1, students will also dive into color theory, learning to mix, blend, and layer with coloured pencils to create rich, dynamic artworks. This class provides a relaxed, supportive environment to refine drawing and colour skills, ideal for teens and adults ready to take their work to the next level.
