Volunteer And Employment Opportunities
At our studio, most employment opportunities begin with volunteering. This allows us to get to know you and determine if the fit is right for both you and our studio. We offer volunteer positions during our summer camps, and our volunteers are often past students of the studio.
To apply, you must be at least 13 years old for volunteers and 18 years old for teachers. We seek individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, teachability, and a passion for art. Above all, we seek individuals who have a genuine love for working with children
Applying At Aliki’s Art House
- Please email your resume along with a cover letter that clearly indicates your teaching experience and personal philosophy on the following topics: children, visual arts, and classroom discipline.
- Applicants should include a portfolio of recent work, clearly labelled with an artist statement for the work. Include at least 5 examples of your drawing ability and 5 examples of any of your other artwork.
- Also, include at least one reference letter and three references.
- Please note, incomplete resumés will not be considered.
