Drawing from Life: Perspective & Proportion
age 12+

4-Day Camp Just for Teens

This immersive drawing camp focuses on learning how to see and draw accurately from life. Students will develop strong observational skills while exploring proportion, spatial relationships, and basic perspective through guided, hands-on practice.

Working from real objects and simple environments, students will learn how to measure proportions, check angles, understand depth, and translate three-dimensional forms onto the page. Emphasis is placed on drawing what is truly observed.

Through short demonstrations, structured exercises, and longer sustained drawings, students will gain practical tools that support more realistic, balanced, and intentional drawings.  This camp is ideal for students, ages 12 & older (i.e., starting grade 7), who want to strengthen their foundations, improve accuracy in their drawing practice and build confidence.

All students receive their own supply kit to use during the camp and take home afterwards.
