This camp is designed for students ready to take their drawing skills to the next level. Through engaging and challenging art projects, students expand their artistic vocabulary and explore new techniques.

What Students Will Learn

Building on foundational skills from the Basics of Drawing Camp, students will:

• develop confidence in more advanced drawing techniques

• explore creative expression and take artistic risks

• create a variety of projects, from realistic tonal drawings to loose gestural sketches and vibrant nonrepresentational artwork

• experiment with a wide range of art materials, including:

  • pencil & charcoal

  • coloured pencil

  • pen & marker

  • chalk & oil pastel

  • paint & mixed media combinations

Pre-Requisite

• Those who have completed the Basics of Drawing Camp or have a solid understanding of basic drawing techniques and terminology.

• Students new to Aliki’s Art House with prior drawing experience are encouraged to schedule a new student assessment before registering
