Weekly classes offer a series of progressive lessons to a closed set of participants at the same time and day each week.
Classes are geared towards specific skill development tailored to participants' age, developmental stage and interest. We use our Aliki's Seven Step System, just like in the studio, and achieve the same brilliant result.
Typically, classes run for one hour each week for 6 to 10 weeks. The community organization takes care of registrations and customer payments. We bring all the materials and all the ideas.
Aliki's one-of-a-kind summer drawing camps are guaranteed to enrich your summer day camp. We have engaging projects and specializations to match your program objectives and themes. Through daily practice, student acquire new skill and gain self confidence to continue drawing on their own once the camp is over.
Our Mini Masters camp is geared to ages 5 - 6 with an emphasis on practicing basic shapes, colours, textures and patterns. Our Basics of Drawing camp is perfect for children 7 - 9 who are keen to learn techniques for independent drawing. Our Beyond the Basics of Drawing camp focuses on practicing techniques for adding volume to drawings for a 3D look. All camps allow participants the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of art materials.
We offer one-time art classes/workshops that enhance your special events, team-building initiatives, and training & development programs. Our classes are customizable to suit any age group, skill level, and specific learning outcomes.
If you have a suitable space, one of our artist instructors will come to you. Class lengths can be tailored to your needs, with a minimum requirement of a 2-hour fee for service. Let us help make your event memorable with a creative and engaging art experience!
We are honoured to collaborate with several esteemed institutions:
At the Jewish Cultural Centre, we've lead weekly lessons for their kindergarten, day care, and afterschool programs, inspiring creativity and fostering a love for the arts. Since 2022, we have also been invited to deliver our popular fine art camps during the summer.
In the summer of 2024, we were excited to extend our reach to the Montessori Children’s House Academy, where we continued our mission of nurturing young artists in a vibrant and supportive environment.

We can teach ANYONE how to draw in as little as a day.
Aliki's 7-step system is a sequential process of teaching the basic fundamental skills of drawing as a series of steps. We define concepts and vocabulary, explain the process and demonstrate how to practice techniques succeed while providing feedback along the way. Our methodology has been refined and proven successful for more than three decades.
One of the best things you can do is encourage your child to use a visual reference when drawing.
Yes, it is definitely possible to learn to be an artist! While some people may have a natural inclination or talent for art, becoming an artist is largely a matter of practice, learning, and developing skills. Talent is optional – interest is an asset! Drawing classes will get one started on an artistic and creative path.
Many children may not show an interest in art simply because they haven't been exposed to the techniques and skills needed to create. Art education plays a crucial role in developing children's confidence and abilities. When children are taught specific drawing skills, such as understanding shapes, proportions, and shading, they gain the tools they need to express themselves. This technical knowledge can boost their confidence and encourage them to explore their creativity.
