More Plein Air Landscape Sketching

We’ve had a lot of fun drawing outside in the summertime.  So let’s do it some more! We will meet in Confederation Park to capture the landscape in person using the theory and techniques introduced in the first part.  We will focus specifically on drawing from life (versus visuals or photographs) and go deeper into colour relationships (i.e., tone, intensity & temperature).  Landscape drawing experience and a sense of adventure are necessary. Students new to Plein Air drawing may benefit from starting with photographs of the same subject.

Please note: Physical distancing will need to be respected during outdoor class to ensure everyone’s safety. A mask will be required by students and the instructor when physical distancing is not ideal. Also note that outdoor class may be rescheduled to ZOOM meeting due to inclement weather.
