Volunteer and employment opportunities
Most employment opportunities at the studio begin with volunteer work. We accept volunteers, as assistants to our classroom teachers, throughout the year. Volunteering at our studio allows us to assess if the fit is right for both you and our studio.
We also accept volunteers for our summer camps. Typically, they have been students at our studio in the past and must be at least 13 years old. We look for enthusiasm, initiative, ‘teachability’, a passion for art and, most importantly, a love for children.

Employment
As stated above, most employment opportunities begin with volunteer work. However, at times we find ourselves in need of qualified teachers. If you have knowledge in a particular area of art, and would like to teach a class in that area, please contact us.
Resumes
To apply for a position at Aliki’s Art House
- Please email your resume along with a cover letter that clearly indicates your teaching experience and personal philosophy on the following topics: children, visual arts, and classroom discipline.
- Applicants should include a portfolio of recent work, clearly labelled with an artist statement for the work. Include at least 5 examples of your drawing ability and 5 examples of any of your other artwork.
- Also, include at least one reference letter and three references.
- Please note, incomplete resumés will not be considered.
